Opening of the new Classic Depot ‘Mainspitze’ near Wiesbaden is approaching
There is still a lot to do before the opening of the new garage site between Mainz and Wiesbaden. While the roof of the former MAN training hall is currently being refurbished, work on the interior is also continuing apace. Historic brick walls are being lovingly renovated and other historic details of the building are being uncovered and emphasised. Outside, the driveway has already been resurfaced and the inner courtyard is being given a new look as the entrance to the site.
Of course, the interior is also being prepared for its new use as a Classic Depot. Now that the hall has been cleared, the spacious self-supporting structures already give an idea of the size and former splendour of the building. The task now is to emphasise the historical character and at the same time create a clean and dry area to store the vehicles. And as quickly as possible – because the first tenants are already waiting to move into their future spaces. The official opening is expected to be in May 2025. Reservations for parking spaces are now possible.
